The chemical centrifugal pump uses the rotation of the impeller to make the water centrifugal. Before starting, the pump casing and the suction pipe must be filled with water, and then the motor is started to make the pump shaft drive the impeller and water to rotate at a high speed. The water is thrown to the outer edge of the impeller through centrifugal motion, and flows into the pressure water pipe of the water pump through the flow channel of the volute. Why the power consumption of chemical centrifugal pumps will gradually increase, the reasons are as follows:

1. The structure is unreasonable, the pressure and displacement of the modified pump or the replaced pump are higher than the original pump, and the matching power of the motor is too small; the material is pressed too tightly; the motor rotor is moving, and the position is not placed correctly , The journal step is ground with the end face of the bearing bush, or the coupling is ground with the oil seal cover. The radial clearance of the pressure relief sleeve or the balance plate is too small, the width of the pocket is too large, and the wear is serious.

2. The outlet valve of the chemical centrifugal pump is too large, the pressure is too low, the displacement exceeds the specified value on the nameplate too much, and the working point deviates too much. If the power supply voltage is too low and the current exceeds the rated value, the friction between the rotor and some parts of the stator in the chemical pump will be very serious.When the motor or pump is seriously eccentric, the vibration is severe, the buffer rubber ring of the coupling is too tight, the front end of the pump pushes the motor coupling and the bearing cap to grind together, and there are serious internal faults when starting, such as the mouth ring and the bush falling off; The balance plate is not opened, serious wear occurs, and the balance return pipe becomes hot; the pump shaft is too rigid and bent and deformed. These factors will lead to greater power consumption of chemical centrifugal pumps.

The countermeasure is to check and adjust the pressure of the lubricating oil circuit, overhaul or replace the bearing bush; repair or replace the balance plate; or cooperate with a professional team to deal with motor failure, exhaust and discharge the air in the pump, and replace the damping rubber ring of the coupling for three guarantee operations. If professionals are on site, corresponding measures can be taken in a timely manner according to the situation.
